Shangri-La Winery was established in early 2000 in Shangri-La, Diqing, Yunnan. In Tibetan, "Shangri-La" means "the sun and moon in the heart," symbolizing eternity, sanctity, and mystery. The Shangri-La Sacred Domain Dry Red Wine is made from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown on 20-year-old vines. The vineyard is located at the foot of Meili Snow Mountain, on the right bank of the Lancang River Valley, at an elevation of 2,300 meters. This wine presents a deep ruby red color, exuding rich aromas of dark berries such as blueberries, intertwined with notes of coffee, cedar, smoke, and mineral undertones. It offers a layered and complex bouquet. On the palate, it is round and juicy with a strong structure. The tannins are powerful yet refined, delivering a focused flavor, a well-balanced framework, and a long-lasting finish.
